Speculaas is a fast, simultaneous card drafting and set collection game for 1–5 players, ages 10+, with a playtime of around 20 minutes.

Speculaas are traditional spiced shortbread cookies from the Netherlands and Belgium, often shaped like windmills, ships, or animals. Their distinctive spice blend includes cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, nutmeg, and white pepper.

In the game, players take on the role of pastry chefs competing to bake the most valuable batches of Speculaas. By drafting Spice cards and combining them with Recipe cards in their personal play area, players create scoring combinations and optimize their layout.

The game is played over two simultaneous rounds. After scoring, the player with the most points wins.
