Turn-based games are great, but sometimes I have a block of time for gaming and I want to play a Real-time game. If I want to play a newly-added game, or something hugely popular like Spades or CoB, it's not too difficult to get a game started. However, if I want to play something meatier, e.g., Barrage or City of the Big Shoulders, I can create a table but could be waiting hours before I get a second player, and waiting for a 3- or 4-player game is just pointless.
What I'd love to see is a way for me to be notified whenever I am logged into the site and someone opens a real-time (or even turn-based) table of any game on my favorites list. Ideally it would not include tables that I am not eligible to join. An nice-to-have feature would be a way to flag games for which I want these notifications, instead of basing it on Favorites. That way I could avoid getting pinged every 5 minutes for Backgammon games and whatever the current hotness is.
I think this would make it a great deal easier to get real-time games going, which would be great for everyone!• Displegit deomp, mar-plij, ar pezh ho poa c'hoant d'ober, ar pezh ho peus graet hag ar pezh a zo c'hoarvezet 'benn ar fin
