I think it is useful to see what card is going to be covered up, but if there were a way to hover and see what had been there that might be helpful. Although I guess you can actually just go look at someone else's line up to see, so yeah maybe it isn't necessary to confirm just put it in the log and be done with it.

I think this confirmation is needed as long as deployed cards cannot be displayed.
If deployed cards could be displayed, then this confirmation would be replaced by an highlighted frame around the starting card until the end of your first turn.

I don't feel too passionate about putting effort into removing something somewhat useful, to save minimal amount of time. I am considering rejecting this suggestion.

Or I can merge it into the purchase confirmation option. If someone opts out of purchase confirmations, they would opt out from this one as well. I assume the audience of these feature are mostly overlapping.
