At the end of each round, it would be nice if the points that each player gained /during that round/ were displayed in the log.
Furthermore, at the end of the game, it would also be nice if a summary were displayed showing the points gained/lost by each player over the three rounds. Something like this:
R1 || R2 || R3 || Final
Player 1 +20 || -14 || +58 || 64
Player 2 -13 || +45 || -16 || 6• Peseurt merdeer eo hoc'h hini ?

15. Mae 2020 14:15 • It has 7 votes now. I think this would be particularly helpful for new players to help them understand how scoring works. It's nice for experienced players too though. I hope you will expose the math that is already being done. Thanks!

Mae 2020 0:39 • Update on this: code is written, but because it involves a change to what is stored in the game's database (individual round scores were never stored before), it would break games in progress. Thus we need to wait until a site admin can handle this (including blocking the game for a while), and unfortunately all admins are super busy these days with higher priority things (probably because of the usage spike thanks to the pandemic). I could do a stop-gap partial version which could be deployed without admin assistance, but I think that's more trouble than it's worth.

19. Eos 2020 16:57 • Thanks! I was inspired by BigJ's comment to expose not only previous round scores but also all the math behind the current round's score, and to make this available at any time rather than just end of round. I think it will be a great tool for new players and you will like how it turned out :)
I'll go ping the admins again since it's been a while; it's possible there's still a priority backlog and we'll have to wait but it's also possible they just forgot. And maybe keep the upvotes coming so they know we should be on that priority list too :)

27. Her 2020 20:31 • I wish I could see the end game results of each round before the cards are wiped away and a new round started. Sometimes I think I'm ahead, but the cards disappear too quickly to be sure.

10. Eos 2021 18:45 • What is the update on this? I played with a friend today and it was his first time. I took pictures w/ my phone and marked them up to help explain end of round scoring. Thanks for your hard work. I appreciate having this game and the work you've done on it!

21. Gwe 2021 22:01 • If we could also have a breakdown of the scores from each color between rounds and a confirmation that we would like to move to the next round, instead of the next round being dealt immediately, that would be great!! =)

25. Gen 2023 16:04 • Yes, totally agree. It would be great if the scoring would be similar as to how the (in between) scoring Jaipur works. Every round you get shown a table with the score.
it would be great if it would be split in the colours as well. And for which one you get the bonus points, the start minus 20 removed, etc.

5. Cʼhw 2023 19:02 • Hi, looks like adding the scoring at the end of each round is going on three years in the making. Would definitely help me and my friends maintain interest in the game if we could see the score breakdown like other games do.

5. Cʼhw 2023 19:35 • Hi julia,
I am as frustrated as you are; I wrote the code for this over a year ago and as far as I can tell it does exactly what you want, but the BGA admins have not responded to my last three emails requesting the code be shipped. I've given up at this point, but you are welcome to try other ways to catch their attention and maybe it will help.

23. Eos 2024 16:32 • I'm a recently new player to Lost Cities, Wanted to check it out here before potential purchase. All indications are that I am loving it.
The suggested Scoring table at end of round and end of game seem essential in this digital version, and as a newb player, would very much appreciate seeing how the overall Score is compiled: both from the standpoint of early learning of the game and strategy, but also long term for score verification (which seems to be an issue seeing the other bug submissions).
I understand it appears as if the developer has already created the software mods required for this improvement, however that implementation is stalled.
Any chance we can lift up the priority on this overdue, and highly sought, improvement, for a popular game?
