Twin Tin Bots
We are proud and happy to announce that Twin Tin Bots, a game from Philippe Keyaerts (Flatlined Games), is now available on Board Game Arena.
Twin Tin Bots is an action programming game where you control 2 robots in order to collect crystals and bring them back to your base. You have 3 programming slots per robot, and you can place an order tile on each of them. Sounds easy? Well, this is not, because here is the main rule: at your turn, you can do only ONE change on your programming. Yes, only ONE among the following: place a new order, remove an order, switch 2 orders, move an order, or reset a robot (remove all orders).
Of course, one change is not enough to optimize the itinerary of your robots on the board ... and this is where the game become interesting. To win at Twin Tin Bots, you must most of the time forget about the shortest itineraries and choose the itineraries that requests the minimum number of order changes. In a word: anticipate, anticipate, and think a lot. This is why this game is so different than games like RoboRally.
Once you play a first game, you can then add some nice elements on the board: terrible rocks that are blocking robots, stupid Blobs that are always-at-the-worst-place (don't hesitate to Zap! them), disgusting mud that slow you down, and tricky teleporters that drives you crazy 🙂
Twin Tin Bots can be played from 2 to 6 players: if you want more interactions, don't hesitate to get more opponents.
Board Game Arena would like to send a big THANK YOU to Flatlined Games for this adaptation, and to Philippe Keyaerts who you may have at your table here on BGA 😉
