One player (Steampunk Munky) in our game got 'X's for the numbers 09/90 near the end of the game (move #57). Tried reloading the browser, but to no avail. Same thing. This was the final move with location cards drawn, so maybe that has something to do with it. However only this one player had the issue. I think everyone was using up to date Chromium-based browsers. The player with the issue was on Chrome under Windows.
He could place these on the board and once confirmed the rest of us would see his board still with the 'X's rather than the numbers they were meant to represent. At the end of the game, the 'X' which should have been 90 should have been included in the valid scoring route, but was ignored instead. It was apparently treated as not a number rather than just a labelling issue.
The game log shows the following text:
Steampunk Munky fills X in state Arkansas (AR)
Steampunk Munky fills X in state North Carolina (NC)

Steampunk Munky's views:
At the start of the turn ('X''s under the cards), and after F5 attempt(s). Same image effectively.
imgur.com/a/Fj72THC
After placing the X for 90, the 90 shows under the cards but X shows on the board (@ NC).
imgur.com/a/2zyFGKQ
After placing the X for 9, the 9 shows under the cards, but X shows on the board (@ AR).
imgur.com/a/1W7EZkQ
At the end of the game, the X for 90 should have been part of the scoring line, but was not.

Finally, lefalaf's view of Steampunk Munky's board, after he confirmed the turn, also shows X's where the numbers 9 / 90 should be.
