the intermezzo is at the bottom after all the player boards, so you can't see it at the same time as your layout. For this prompt (only?) the intermezzo needs to be adjacent to the display of the tile layout, so you can make a useful decision.
If the tiles could be on the left or right, or even right below my board that would greatly improve the game experience.
