• Mar-plij, eilit/pegit ar gemennadenn fazi a zo war ho skramm, ma zo unan.
According to the Kraken Rulebook you should only be able to remove the sentinel token once you take possession of the reserved element. However in the BGA version if you can afford the lord you have reserved you can select the reserved lord and thereby remove the token. but you can then choose not buy that lord and then on your next turn you can place the sentinel token again.
From the Kraken rulebook:
“When you take possession of the reserved element (Lord, Council stack, or Location), place your Sentinel token in front of you. On your next turn, you will be able to use it to place a new reservation”
There is no other way written that you can remove the token.

The game referenced above is from a turn based game in progress. I don't have a better example but will update if i do. It's fairly simple to reproduce tho. get a sentinel token place it on a lord, get the allies need to be able to buy the lord, select it but don't purchase it. you will then have control over the token again.

Your bug has probably been fixed already, or was linked to a temporary failure of BGA service.
In any case, when filling a bug report, make sure to have an explicit title linked to the incident (ex: with error message), so other players can recognize it and vote for it.
