• Mar-plij, eilit/pegit ar gemennadenn fazi a zo war ho skramm, ma zo unan.
I really like the animations you implemented very much! They help a lot to get a similar feeling like on a real table. And they help to intuitively notice what the other players are doing during their turn which is quite important!
Unfortunately there are some cases where players usually do not notice what the other players are doing.
The players have to read the log instead of just looking at the table (that is what you are usually doing at a real table!). And this is a big drawback of the playing online.
Please consider that this could be improved a lot with following changes:
- In case of buying gems these gems should fly from the top of the market value table
(at the top position where the 4 specific gems are printed on, see picture) to the player board (like this is already done for mining rights and cards)
- In case of selling gems these gems should fly from the player board to the top of the market value table (to the specific column, see picture)
- In case of use trader it is just a mixture of the animations for buying gems and for selling gems
- In case of taking 4 gold a small stack of gold coins should fly from a stack of gold (see picture) to the player board
- In case of drawing from face-down piles a card should fly from the stack to the player board (like for face-up cards)
These animations could help a lot to get a more similar feeling like you have "in reality" because you are far more involved in the game especially in the moves of the other players!
