Currently, you're able to move a slider to adjust the size of the cards relative to the other players' cards but you can only do this once the game starts (i.e. once you can't stop to make any adjustments without losing out in the game).
It would be much better if the 'ready' screen had some way of seeing how big the cards will be (pale grey circles for example to show where the cards will be) and that way you could make the interface adjustments before the game starts so that you will actually be 'ready' when you click the ready button. -
