The description of the rules says there should be a reminder token that you can place on a hidden room until it is revealed. It wasn't obvious how to do this, or if the option exists. Could the option to place a marker be offered after the room color is selected (but with a warning that it will be moved from whatever other room it is marking, if that is the way it works)?

You must click on a tile during your turn, before telling the color for doing that.

I had trouble figuring it out too. Also, it seems that it can't be done on the beginning look.

The reminder action should be proposed everytime you make the look action and you have it available

It would be nice if there were also a mechanism for placing a reminder token during your turn, without looking at the room, if you had forgotten to place during a previous turn, etc. I have also had trouble using the current mechanism for placing a reminder token even knowing how it works and having used it successfully in the past.

agreed with otopsi, reminder token should be proposed at the look and move actions as well - if we still have it. Lots of times players walk into Mortal Chamber or check the same room twice by accident while they just wanted to place the token. It could be a problem mainly for the new players tho.

Has development stopped on this game? This seems to be the most requested feature. Without this feature, the implementation feels less strategic for new players. Thanks for bringing this to BGA, btw!

I'm not entirely sure if this is the same thing or if I should open a separate report, but my experience has been that I keep getting asked if I'd like to place my reminder token, when I was actually trying to do some other action. I think a better user interface would be to have an explicit "place reminder token" button somewhere on the screen, rather than just clicking on a room.

I figured out how to set a reminder token.
When you do the “look” action, you need to click on the token BEFORE indicating the color of the room.
