Additional existing conditions:
My ship just used boosters to make an extra move and moved onto an asteroid field.
There is a planet and a second ship in the blast template for the weapon. The planet is between the firing ship and the second potential target. Clicking on that second ship with the targeting line gives an appropriate error message that the firing ship does not have LOS to that target.
