When passing the red barrier on the explorer track, the action-bar message currently reads "Choose a nation with which to gain influence [France] [Spain] [England]"
To make it clear how much influence is gained, I believe the following would be an improvement:
"Choose a nation with which to gain (triple-influence banner from red barrier itself) [France] [Spain] [England]"• Peseurt merdeer eo hoc'h hini ?

For another, because this implementation, for reasons unknown to me, resolves this red-barrier bonus /after/ later things—such as the first quest that is west of the red barrier (a fairly common occurrence on the very same turn in which a player first passes the red barrier)—are resolved... well, when that quest's reward is also outright influence /or/ combat, the player will be gaining influence on from two sources on the same turn, and need not choose the same nation for the quest tile's influence as the influence from the barrier.
Thus, by using the triple-banner icon as distinct from any influence gained from a quest or combat, confusion will be reduced.
