In this game, it is almost impossible to lower down the difficulty of shots under 3, and thus if there's always a roll on 1 or 2 on important points, not only all strategies will be useless but also the player who consume stars to lower the difficulty will fall into disadvantage after such roll.
I understand that Worldwide Tennis is definitely a dice game which contains element of luck. However, if there's no measures controlling the extend that luck could impact on, this boardgame will become a purely dice game without any strategic factor. Moreover, player will lose their playing experience everytime a roll on 1 or 2 (especially on crucial shots).
The easiest way to solve this is to change the rule. " If a player rolls 1 or 2, the roll will not be counted and he could roll the dice again, until he rolls out 3 or above. " Under this rule, there's still plenty of luck factor in the game, but players could strategically hit a 100% safe shot by using 3 stars in a shot, if they consider that shot is crucial. -

Roll-istor an danevelloù bog
As said, I think it is fun to add the challenge tokens like in the real board game. Then you still have a chance sometime with a miss hit (or miss roll with the dice) "
Challenge tokens may be too complicated to code by the developers, and it cannot help reducing luck factor on easy shots, there still chances to lose a 3 difficulty shot, which is really disappointing to players.
Again, for me this change is not neccesary.
I would like to see the challenge tokens, like in the real board game as an extra option/feature.
